Laura has a strong design background, training as a graphic designer, long before she learned she could paint. Putting things ‘in the right place in white space’ has always been an instinctive exercise for Crane—so much so she attributes her years in the design sector to her refined, minimalist, abstractionist style.

As is the case with many artists, Laura is a consummate creative, and applies her creativity across several platforms working under Laura Crane Creative. She is still enlivened and enthralled with designing for clients, working with them to develop custom creative to authentically represent their brand, and now works on custom designs and surface solutions for commercial spaces, from hotel wallpapers, to custom rugs, to signage and fully setup vector work for laser cut exterior structure application.
