Rowing Australia Cassidy Group Residency | July 2021
A residency in Rockhampton with the Australian Olympic Rowing Team ahead of Tokyo 2020, innovatively engaged by their hosts, The Cassidy Group.
Laura was engaged to paint an individual work for each member of the Australian Olympic Rowing Team and completed a large body of work, painting by the water, translating the riverscape and ballet of rowers as they trained morning and afternoon.
Laura found the team’s spirit, heart, determination and grit deeply inspirational and wove her response to it into the works, forming close bonds with team members and delighting in witnessing and celebrating their excellence.
Rydges Gold Coast Airport | 2020
Working directly for one of Australia’s self-made legends, the brief was to ‘let them know they’ve landed at the Gold Coast!’ Bright, iconic, quirky, bold and rather unforgettable summation of both the owner and his Gold Coast Rydges. Laura immersed herself in the Gold Coast, painted at dawns on Kirra Beach, hiked trails and took in the essence to the place to create three large wall murals, ten custom wall papers, along with custom rugs, menus, uniform scarves, T-shirt designs and logo for The Salty Fox.
An all-time, life-changing favourite body of work, delivering the delight in her heart for all the world to enjoy, and one very happy customer. It is in fact what it is all about for her.
Berragoon Australian Stock Horse Stud Residency 2023
“The best gets me every time.” Laura was delighted to be commissioned by Berragoon ASH Stud to capture some incredible moments in time for them as their horses spun the sale ring and their bloodlines flashed the fields at their Annual Production Sale and their Albury Silver Spur Classic.
The bloodline performs incredibly with spirit and sass and all round excellence, across several disciplines. Laura created a solid body of work at the sale, challenge camp draft and then on the polocrosse field. She then headed to Mandarring, the stud’s home and let her heart roam the hills and and incredible landscape, creating a solid body of work with mares milling around her in the paddock as her heart opened and the creative flowed.

A special engagement to celebrate a brilliant partnership, Laura created custom wall murals, rug and digital assets for this vibrant, youthful law firm.
Melia Ngorongoro Crater
A wonderful adventure to Ngorongoro Crater, the Jewel of Tanzania. There she travelled the crater and then on to the Serengeti painting atop a safari car rhinos, elephants, gazelle, flamingos, lions, leopards, wilder beast, giraffe, hyenas, warthog, leopards, ostrich, monkeys, zebra, numerous birds and even a serval cat and civet. Laura painted canvases for custom made bed heads, and four other large works for the Royal and Presidential suites.
