Meet Laura’s Wandering Warriors Horses for Special Forces fundraiser for 2018, The Waler and The Ode.

Laura remains wholly passionate in her support of this wonderful not for profit organisation Wandering Warriors who work so hard to support our special forces boys and their families, assisting them in immediate ways, uniquely tailored to the specific situation of those serving; transitioning to civilian life; and those past servicemen, and their families. All profits from these prints go directly to Wandering Warriors, and are passed on swiftly and with consideration to where its most needed.

Laura was commissioned to create a custom artwork by the VRC for the cover of their Anzac Day Race Day books, inspired by Tanya Bartlett’s beautiful Tamworth Waler Memorial sculpture. This piece, The Waler and The Ode is taken from that same starting point and shares many similarities, though has The Ode threaded throughout.
